Cute Bottles!

My friend wanted to thank her colleagues for helping her win a prize at her work place and were looking for something interesting as present and she saw the little bottles I did at one event at "L" and asked me to make a couple for her. It was fun doing up the bottles, I added patterned paper, Blueyedezines felt ribbons, clay flowers that I made, ribbons and all kinds of embellishment I can find from my house so that I do not have any repeat in the pattern. She loves all the bottles I made for her and I hope her colleagues love them too!

Wedding Cards For My Friend's Sister

My friend's sister asked me to her ROM invite card to her guest last year and this year she is getting married this November and she wanted something different from the traditional wedding invites given by the hotel so she asked me to do up a little card for her so that she can send it to her guest. So I did up several samples for her to choose and she has choose the above card as her invite.
Yesterday, my friend and her sister came over to my place and we were all cutting, punching and pasting the whole day trying to get ready the invite. It was tiring but fun! Hope her guest will like her invite.

Felicia @ Project Scrap Away

Have you heard about Project Scrap Away? This contest is host by Scrap N Crop an online store in Malaysia. It consists of 12 individual weekly challenges and 1 final GRAND challenge. For each challenge, participants will be given 5 days to complete their work. Each week, the entry with the lowest score will be eliminated.

A friend, Felicia is one of the few remaining participants in Project Scrap~Away and I think she's a really creative and talented Scrapbook Artist! She is currently on her 9th Challenge. The challenge is to dig around for one of her very first layouts and then “re-update” or “re-do” the LO again. I am looking forward to seeing her layout. From all her project, I especially like what she did for her 8th project the “Black & White” Challenge. She can only use black and white colour and she came out with a lovely belt with lots of lovely embellishments.

If you would like to be inspired by her creations you can visit her blog. Best wishes Felicia for all you upcoming challenge!

Snow

I used the latest SEI papers to do up this page and the 2 cute snowman were from my Basic Grey patterned paper. This photo were taken half way to the the top of Mt Fuji. The air were fresh and the weather is really lovely - I just love winter in Japan!

Simple Layout

I wanted to complete some 12" x 12" layouts for my album so I used some Blueyedezines latest patterned paper to create this 12" x 12" page. I cut out 2 flowers put some glitter on the flowers and used it as embellishment for my layout - something simple to complete.

The dog in the picture is "Raffles" - he is a very gentle and kind dog. He is no longer around so this is the last picture I took with him. I remember the first time saw him during my stayed at my friends place in Sydney, I was very scared of him cos he is such a huge dog. Becos I am so afraid of him he were not allowed into the house for the period I were staying there. One evening while we were playing game in one of the room I saw him peeking into the room to see what we are doing - he was such a gentle and sweet he did not run into the room which some dogs will, he just stayed outside the room and look!

KL Photos - 2 to 4 May 2008

It's Mother's Day today and I did this layout of my mommy and me. I think I was only 4 or 5 years old and it was taken on one of my cousin's wedding day. My mother told me that I was not happy becos I wanted to play and they wanted a picture of me.

My mother is a stay at home mom so I get to spend most of my childhood with her. Her love for me and the family is unconditional and she's always there for me.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MOMMY!

We wanted to go to the Genting Highlands on the 1st May but due to the May Day holiday most of the tickets were sold out leaving only the late afternoon tickets which ended up we decided to leave on the 2nd May to KL and spend 2 days there eating what we love.

As usual we stayed at our favourite hotel "Royal Bintang". We like to stay there because there's a food street "Jalan Alor" just opposite the hotel and there were plently of yummy food which are availabe till late at night.

Wanted to visit Scrap N Crop but she went back to her hometown. Guess we can only meet up on my next trip.

Although we only had 2 days at KL we visited most of the places we wanted to visit and eat the yummy food that we love.
