Felicia @ Project Scrap Away

Have you heard about Project Scrap Away? This contest is host by Scrap N Crop an online store in Malaysia. It consists of 12 individual weekly challenges and 1 final GRAND challenge. For each challenge, participants will be given 5 days to complete their work. Each week, the entry with the lowest score will be eliminated.

A friend, Felicia is one of the few remaining participants in Project Scrap~Away and I think she's a really creative and talented Scrapbook Artist! She is currently on her 9th Challenge. The challenge is to dig around for one of her very first layouts and then “re-update” or “re-do” the LO again. I am looking forward to seeing her layout. From all her project, I especially like what she did for her 8th project the “Black & White” Challenge. She can only use black and white colour and she came out with a lovely belt with lots of lovely embellishments.

If you would like to be inspired by her creations you can visit her blog. Best wishes Felicia for all you upcoming challenge!

Osaka

Just completed another simple layout. I used 2 sheets of the DCWV "The Blossoms & Butterflies" paper stack, some turquoise crystals and velvet thickers to finish this layout.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Ed's July Sketch!

Did this simple layout for Ed's July Sketch at Papierhouse. I only use one cardstock, 1 patterned paper and some embellishment and lace to finish this layout.

The photo were taken almost 2 decade ago at the Fisherman Wharf in Sydney and I am glad that we are still best friend. The seafood there were really fresh and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Orange & Yellow Theme Mini Board Book

I used 1 sheet of Sassafra's patterned paper, some bluedezines felt ribbons and cardstock and hard cover to complete this mini album.

Snow

I used the latest SEI papers to do up this page and the 2 cute snowman were from my Basic Grey patterned paper. This photo were taken half way to the the top of Mt Fuji. The air were fresh and the weather is really lovely - I just love winter in Japan!

Simple Layout

I wanted to complete some 12" x 12" layouts for my album so I used some Blueyedezines latest patterned paper to create this 12" x 12" page. I cut out 2 flowers put some glitter on the flowers and used it as embellishment for my layout - something simple to complete.

The dog in the picture is "Raffles" - he is a very gentle and kind dog. He is no longer around so this is the last picture I took with him. I remember the first time saw him during my stayed at my friends place in Sydney, I was very scared of him cos he is such a huge dog. Becos I am so afraid of him he were not allowed into the house for the period I were staying there. One evening while we were playing game in one of the room I saw him peeking into the room to see what we are doing - he was such a gentle and sweet he did not run into the room which some dogs will, he just stayed outside the room and look!

Clock Workshop @ Laines

Joyce and I attended the workshop called Big Ben @ Laines yesterday. We had a wonderful lunch at the Japanese Rest. next to Laines before our class. The food was really yummy. Should have taken some food shot but was too hungry so when the food arrive we all dig in. The session was fun with lots of painting, cutting and pasting. Love all the little embellishment given by Sharon.
