Card Pattern Sketch 2

So how's your weekend? Mine were spending time with God, family and friends.

Last week I was unable to load my take for CP Sketch 2 challenge. Finally today got my layout crop and size for posting so here is what I did for the challenge:

I chanced into this sketch challenge for cards when I visited my friend Fiona's blog who is a DT. She also have some interesting video tutorial she is sharing at her blog.

For my card I used some left over patterned paper and ribbons with "I Love You" wording, Magnolia stamped images and a crochet flower I made to complete this card.

Mini Post It Memo Pocket

I spend my afternoon today to do up some little gifts for my friends.

This mini Post It Memo pocket is really easy to do. I only need some cardstock, ribbons and embossing folder. First I used my Scor Pal to do the score my cardstock then I used my mbossing folder to emboss on my cardstock, added the ribbon and a handstamped Magnolia image to complete the box.

I used Magnolia's Summer 2008 Collection "Shabby Chic" ~ Sitting Summer Tilda stamp image and patterned paper from We R Memory Keepers Urban Window Collection to complete this card.

I used the following copic marker for my stamped image:

Hair ~ Y000, YR21 Y32 & E55

Face ~ E00, E21 & R20

Top & Bow ~ RV23 & RV25

Boots ~ E53 & E55

Jeans ~B93 &B97

You Make My Heart Happy

The stamp I used is Magnolia ~ Patch Tilda and I used patterned papers from K & Company Amy Butler Designer Mat Pad to create a little wall for little Tilda to sit on it. The flower is also from one of the patterned paper I cut it out and added some stickles glitter.

The Magnolia stamps are all so lovely! I can't wait to get their "Love Collections 2009" which I heard will be available soon!

Another Simple Valentine's Day Card ~ "I Love You!"

A simple card to share with everyone!

I used the stamped image which is same as ~ "Make your own happiness card!" added matching colors with my copic markers. I think I am starting to be addicted to these markers ~ they produce really nice and rich colours for my stamped images. To finished the card I added some patterned papers and ribbons with wordings "I Love You" and embossed the cardstock.

I used the Magnolia Valentine Collections ~ Tilda with Tag to create this simple Valentine's Day card.

This is the first few cards that I used my copic marker to color my stamp images and the outcome is really lovely.

Magnolia Valentine's Day Card to Share

Another sweet Magnolia Valentine's Day card to share. I used the other half of left over patterned paper from my previous card added a crochet flower (done by myself) and large and small bling bling to complete the card.

Valentine Stamps from Magnolia

Collected the Valentine Collection Magnolia's stamp from a friend and can't wait to try my hands on them. I used some patterned paper from the DCWV Sweet collection and flowers from Blueyedezines to complete this sweet Valentine's Day card.

Sweet Pink Tilda Card

It's Monday today! Did you have a good weekend? Another sweet card made with one of my Magnolia stamps. As for the patterned paper they are from one of the Australian brand. Haven't added any wording to the card yet. Thought I'll leave it blank for the time being and when I have decided on the wordings will post the final layout of the card.

Frangipani n Tilda

I just love the Magnolia stamps "Picnic Tilda" it so easy to use. For this card I just add some patterned paper from Blueyedezines and Sassafras and bling bling from Kaiser and I've got a lovely card.

A simple cards to share

A simple card that is really easy to do.

This card was inspired by my friend Fiona who did up a card with a little panda peeking out of a window.

If you want to do up a quick card for your loved one you can also try this card layout.

• Cut your card size to 6" x 12"
  
• Do two score line at 4" and 8" on the 12" length and fold your card to 4" x 6".
  
• For the centre I used a MM scallop punch and punch the middle portion
  
• Embossed the panel to give it some texture.
  
• Add some ribbons and flower to complete the front of the card.

What are you doing now?

It's the weekend again for me I will try and spend some time doing more cards using my new stamps. I just simply love all the stamps I bought from Magnolia they are so lovely. Will be collecting more stamps from my friend tomorrow so look back for my card from the Valentine collection which I am collecting. Heard they are really yummy!

For the above card I used the score pal to do the centre portion of this card where the Magnolia stamp sits to give it a pop up look. The patterned paper I used are the old series of the SEI patterned paper.
