Our March School Holidays

The school holiday is just over our kids are back to school.  So what did you do for your one week school holidays.

Daddy took a couple of days off and we went to watch "The Lorax" (I & R first movie outing).  For a start we were a bit worried that they might want to go out of the theater since is dark and cold inside but they did just fine!  Beside going to the movies we did lots of art and crafts and went to several fun playground and the kids enjoyed themselve.

Isaac loves art and craft and requested us to bring him to this place @ Novena to do some clay modelling.  We did clay modelling for his 3rd birthday in January and his little guest went home with cute little panda!

Fun time at the children playground in Causeway Point Woodlands.

My Little Sweetie Birthday!

Buffet from Delihub

Jelly from Mrs Chan

Cake from Flor Patisserie

We celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday last weekend.  We chose the Strawberry shortcake theme for her birthday and I recycled her brother's 1st birthday pinata into a strawberry theme pinata coz it is really difficult to find strawberry shortcake party ware here and I order a yummy strawberry shortcake cake from a Flor Patisserie - the cake is really soft and yummy with lots of strawberry.  We also order our food from Delihub and lots of yummy satay from Kwong Satay.

We also got the children to make little strawberry shortcake photo frames to bring home.
Overall the party was good and we all had a good time eating and chatting.

Thank you everyone who came for her birthday!

Mini Magnolia Pouch

My son and myself was down with the chicken pox virus since the middle of June.  It started with my son who was down with the virus than I was affected after his was healed.  We were blessed to have medication to control the infection and we were not affected by lots of poxs all over our body.

Since we were all house bound for these period it gives me some time to stay home and finished some of the crafts which I wanted to do a while ago.  I had been wanting to make these cute mini pouch using canvas fabric and some japanese fabric for the back of the pouch.

The images were hand stamped using versacraft inpad and then I used my copic pens to fill in the images.  Here are some of the finished products that I have sew.  Beside these mini pouch I've also complete some hair bows and hairclips which I am currently selling at my etsy.

21st Birthday

One of our cousin's daughter celebrated her 21st birthday last month at the Pasir Ris Chalet so I decided to do up a canvas page for her keepsake.  I used the stamp image from donna downey large foam stamp and one of my favourite Magnolia stamp image, some acrylic paint, glimmermist, flowers and a simple felt frame from Blueyedezines to complete the gift.

Here is the finished product:

Flower in a pot

I used left over canvas materials to make these lovely flower for my flower pot cards.

I was inspired by Splitcoaststampers video at you tube.  It was a lovely flower pot that they taught at the video and I added my canvas flower which I painted with various paints and added some glitter and a Swarovski crystal in the centre.  When the person received the card she can take out the flower pin and use it as a hair accessories or as a brooches.
Here are some of my flower pots card that I have complete the last few days!
