Magnolia Coptic Stitch Journal

The week passes by very quickly.  It's already thursday and the weekend is round the corner.  So what will you be doing this weekend?

Today I finally got the time to try making a coptic stitch journal.  This is a 6" x 6" simple journal I used the following stash to complete my little journal.

Cover : Black card board with patterned paper - which is I think 2 years ago collection but I just love the bright sunny colours, handsewn flower button - I made these whenever I have some time to spare, Magnolia image - my all time favourite, doily paper, ribbon and lots of simple embellishments.

I love the quote "Life is full of surprises, open them slowly"  I hope that your life is also full of surprises too!

Thank you for coming by my little blog and hope you have a blessed weekend ahead!

My Easel Card

front of easel card 1
 inside of easel card 1

I just love making these easel cards.  I also used the waterfall technique for the inside of my easel card.  I am so addicted to making these cards that I made not just these two but several other but I am sharing my 2 best favourite here with you today.

Material used includes: Magnolia stamps, Hanglar and Stanglar stamps, doily papers, paper flowers, cardstocks, ribbons and patterned papers to complete these cards.

Thank you for visiting my blog and have a blessed weekend ahead!

Our March School Holidays

The school holiday is just over our kids are back to school.  So what did you do for your one week school holidays.

Daddy took a couple of days off and we went to watch "The Lorax" (I & R first movie outing).  For a start we were a bit worried that they might want to go out of the theater since is dark and cold inside but they did just fine!  Beside going to the movies we did lots of art and crafts and went to several fun playground and the kids enjoyed themselve.

Isaac loves art and craft and requested us to bring him to this place @ Novena to do some clay modelling.  We did clay modelling for his 3rd birthday in January and his little guest went home with cute little panda!

Fun time at the children playground in Causeway Point Woodlands.
